This is not my first time at Cafe Nervosa, however it will be the LAST. We have waited for our food over an hour. When we finally asked the owner, he was the rudess, most arogant restaurant owner I ever met. Not only that he didn't care (both about the wait, or that we were hungry, or that we needed to return to work.. but he didn't even care if we will return). Interesting, we are very reasonable people and all we needed would have been an apology, instead we were treated with an unbelievable arrogance and rudness.. he didn't care, after all the restaurant was busy, he is making lots of money and he is in a prime location, so he didn't think he needs to bother with us. Well, we will never go there again and we will make sure all our friends and coworkers know about this experience!

The evening spent at Caf? Nervosa was time well spent. When we arrived the person at the door made us feel like we had walked into an Italian family home. We were offered 3 choices for patios which were all beautiful and had excellent views of the action in Yorkville. The service was great, the food was awesome and the atmosphere was welcoming. I can?t wait to get back to Toronto to return and try some more dishes.

I love Cafe Nervosa, every time I go there I am treated like family. Their salads are great, especially the seafood salad, but my favourite is the mixed platter of appetizers that I like to share with friends over a great glass of Shiraz. My favourite place to sit is on the second floor patio - I really believe it is one of the best patios in the city. Great views of Yorkville, especially nice on a warm summer night. All in all, I hightly recommend this place, not only for the food, but for the amazing family atmosphere.
The food was okay. The service is a different story. My employer and I waited quite a while to get served and our pizzas were a little on the cold side. When we had finished eating we were still polishing off a bottle of mineral water when the host had abruptly told us that he needed our table of two for another party. We were only there for an hour at that point and had just finished eating our $15 pizzas!
I suggest taking a $50 lunch elsewhere.
