I have a permanent disability, and I came to this restaurant to celebrate my grandma’s 80th birthday. Our waitress was named Sarah and she provided our table with excellent service. She took all our orders properly, and had the food served so quick, considering we were a larger group. My 3 children were quite loud, and yet our server was extremely patient and tolerant of my noisy kids. Most waitresses would never be so tolerant. Dessert was very good also. We had a very good time. outstanding...the food was incredible, very fresh, rolls were well put together and just a splendid assortment of items to choose from. The service was very good, they didn't miss one item of about 20 ordered off the all you can eat menu and they were quite pleasant compared to other Sushi restaurants I have visited. Atmosphere was also good, with a choice of open table or booth. I used to drive to Scarborough for good Sushi, I will no longer be making that trip. Went to DC with the child for open house and decided to look for lunch on the way to 401. We passed it and turned back as we didn't want fast food. It's a tiny place with 2 tables and 4 rickety chairs but we are happy we stopped there. The girl (owner's daughter it turns out) behind the counter was sweet and efficient. She made us 4 samosas & 4 shawarmas that were delicious and filling. The owner provided 2 free bottles of water for our 1st time there as well as a orange drink for the two guys ahead of us, also their 1st time. Friendly, fun and good food too. We put the tables together and had an excellent lunch. There's just no elegant way to eat shawarmas so you need lots of napkins. Wouldn't want to eat there in the winter as it probably gets quite cold in there. Lire plus

Even if you are not into sushi, it is worth a trip to Kakemono! My boyfriend LOVES sushi and although I don't mind it, it is not my favourite meal in the world. However, I love Teriyaki and the Teriyaki dishes on Kakemono's all you can eat menu are wonderful. The prices are reasonable when compared to the price you may for most all-you-can-eat places and the food was great. We will be going back in the near future! Lire plus
