The pulled pork poutine was amazing and I recommend it to anyone that likes pulled pork and poutine on their own - once combined they become something spectacular. I thought paying over $10 for a poutine was a ripoff, but wait until you see how much food you get - its amazing having a 2nd dinner later on at 11pm from my doggie bag. So hot and saucy, you will love every bite. Service staff was good, no complaints. The stool chair seating was inadequate, and should be replaced with booths or proper chairs. I've been here a few times over the years and this restaurant does not disappoint! The food is pretty standard for American cuisine and is usually well cooked, though I once had chicken that tasted off. The signature sauce that comes with meals is amazing! Dessert portions are too small for the price but prevent me from overeating. Service is friendly but sometimes slow during peak times. I'd recommend this place for family meals (it's not private enough for dates). The atmosphere has a comfortable, homey feel to it. I definitely recommend the classic rotisserie chicken! Lire plus

I took my son to Swiss Chalet two weeks ago for a chicken dinner (1/4 with fries). Consistently good. The waitress was attentive, and knew how to keep the baby at the table next door happy (crackers, crayons, drinks... STAT!). When my wife and I went out for dinner the next week, where did my son go? As we don't currently have a Harvey's in my area (Thunder Bay), this is always the location I usually visit for my fix when I'm staying in downtown Toronto!...Unfortunately the PATH foodcourts (Harvey's) are sometimes unreliable with their hours of operation.
